Android 1.5 for T-Mobile G1, officially

American operator T-Mobile officially announced the imminent release of Android 1.5 update for your smartphone G1. Since the end of next week, users of the device will be able to download OTA-Android 1.5 update to their devices. All owners of T-Mobile G1 will be required to obtain a new version of firmware to the end of May. Interestingly, that has previously appeared G1 messages from users that they have already gained access to the upgrade.

The new version of the operating system, Android under number 1.5 was previously known under the code-named Cupcake. It includes a number of innovations.
