AT&T Announces Top Mobile Apps and Games of First Quarter
AT&T Navigator, AT&T Mobile TV and Napster Mobile Lead the App Pack.
As demand for mobile apps continues to grow, AT&T* today released the top 10 performing applications based on new sales from January through March, offering a closer look at what consumers are doing with their phones beyond talking, texting and tweeting.
As reported in AT&T’s first-quarter earnings, wireless data revenues for the company grew 39 percent year-over-year. A key contributor to this growth is use of mobile applications and games, many of which are available via AT&T MEdia Mall, AT&T’s multimedia content store.
“Mobile applications help customers customize their handsets and better utilize the capabilities of their devices,” said Mark Collins, vice president of Voice and Data Products for AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets. “Whether our customers want to stay connected to their favorite sources for entertainment or have 24/7 access to information, we offer apps relevant to the task.”
