Foxconn to step into Chinese-language iPhone apps, say Taiwan makers

The OEM manufacturer of Apple's iPhone, Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry), will have its R&D staff in China develop iPhone-specific Chinese-language software applications to help promote the device in the China market, according to industry sources in Taiwan.

Foxconn declined to comment.
