HTC Magic smartphones heading to Canada and Japan, says paper
High Tech Computer's (HTC's) Android-powered smartphones will make inroads into the handset markets in Canada and Japan soon, with shipments contributing significantly to HTC's revenue growth for the second quarter of 2009, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.
Canada-based Rogers Wireless has announced that it will exclusively launch HTC Dream and HTC Magic smartphones in June, the paper pointed out, while adding that NTT Docomo is expected to unveil its HT-03A handset, a tweaked version of the HTC Magic, for the Japan market soon.
