China spends 146 billion dollars to develop third-generation networks
At a June 3, telecom forum chairman of China Association for the Development of Communication (SASE) Liqun Liu (Liu Liqing) stated that in the next three years, China spends one trillion yuan (about $ 146 billion) for the development of third generation mobile networks. This Liqun Liu noted that the 400 billion yuan will be spent on infrastructure, while 600 billion - for the purchase of user equipment. According to the SASE for the three years in the Chinese market will be sold around 300 million devices, working in networks of 3G.
