OneLink Selects BIAP Ad Widgets(R)

First Ever Interactive Advertising Solution Using EBIF Platform.

PLANO, Texas and SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, --- OneLink Communications, serving the metropolitan area of San Juan, Puerto Rico and BIAP Inc. of Plano, TX, announced their agreement to launch the BIAP Ad Widgets(R) Advertising System. This agreement will bring interactive advertising to OneLink's digital subscriber base in the San Juan metro area beginning later this summer.

Ad Widgets(R) deliver robust interactivity to standard :30 spots to enable Request for Information, Voting and Polling, Video on Demand (VOD) Telescoping, and Click-to-Call features. OneLink will also use these advanced interactive features in their own commercials to promote various cross-platform products and services to existing OneLink customers.

The Ad Widgets(R) Advertising System is built on the EBIF (Enhanced TV Binary Interchange Format) standard and delivers a scalable solution to operators, programmers, and advertisers. When launched in San Juan, Ad Widgets(R) will become the first ever deployment of an interactive advertising solution using the EBIF standard.

Ad Widgets(R) enables interested viewers to learn more about products and services they care about. From click-to-call, store locations, menus and specials, and long-form video, viewers can conveniently discover and transact using their digital cable remote control.

"Everyone agrees that interactive features built into traditional television advertising will generate incremental revenue. This is why the cable industry created the EBIF standard," said Ron Dorchester, OneLink CEO. "We have been running BIAP's EBIF platform since September 2008, and we have tremendous confidence in it. Over the past ten months it has performed seamlessly supporting various applications, and we are excited about the economic upside of interactive advertising made possible with BIAP's advanced advertising solution."

"Interactivity is now no longer an experiment. Ad Widgets is an opportunity for the cable operator to earn millions of additional advertising dollars starting now," said Tim Peters, CEO of BIAP. "We are very pleased that this agreement will allow OneLink San Juan to become the first cable operator anywhere to launch a complete interactive advertising system using the EBIF standard."

Ad Widgets(R) includes Media Sales support tools that aid the Sales Force in demonstrating the value of interactive features to potential advertisers. It also allows sales people to capture key information along with advertiser orders during the sales call. All of this information is digested by the campaign management system and the client's commercial runs with the embedded interactive feature. State-of-the-art analytics delivered during the campaign allow the advertiser to make changes on the fly to improve performance and drive ROI. A complete post-buy report following the campaign provides extraordinary data not previously available.
