Tattelecom announced the launch of the network WiMAX
Tattelecom, the largest operator in the Republic of Tatarstan, has announced the launch of a network of wireless access technology WiMAX. WiMAX network will operate in the range of 3.5 GHz for certified, WiMAX Forum, the equipment company Alvarion. The network has already started in commercial operation.
The main construction phase is completed. At the stage of the project launch WiMAX network deployed in major cities - Zelenodolsk, Elabuga, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, Nizhnekamsk, Kurkachi, seated, Laish, and the highest mountain in the territory of SEZ «Alabuga». And by mid-summer of this year will be run base stations in urban areas, and Bugulma Leninogorsk. Coverage will fully cover these cities and towns within a radius of up to 15 kilometers, which opens up new, «mobile», the possibility of thousands of potential customers in the use of such advanced services as high-speed Internet and IP telephony. Toured the country, potential customers will remain in their corporate network and receive calls in your city number in any corner of Tatarstan. The investments in the project amounted to 38 million rubles.
