Wrist navigators Garmin Foretrex 301 and 401 fans for a trip

The company Garmin has announced two new models of GPS-navigators of the series Foretrex - 301 and 401. They are targeted at travelers, tourists, fans of extreme sports and the military and are designed for wearing on the hand. Foretrex 301 and 401 are equipped with highly sensitive GPS-receiver with HotFix technology to quickly locate satellites on the basis of prediction of their possible location. In addition, both devices support function TracBack, allowing to return to the starting point of route. Navigator Foretrex 301 and 401 are equipped with black-and-white displays, they show the position of the user in various formats, including latitude / longitude and others. They are able to provide other data necessary for traveling, for example, time of sunrise and sunset. Foretrex 301 and 401 can be connected to a computer via USB-connection, as well as the wireless channel to the Navigator series Garmin Foretrex, Oregon and Colorado to share routes.

Weight is 85 grams of navigation, power is provided from two batteries of type AAA. Foretrex 301 can operate without recharging up to 18 hours, and 401 - up to 17 hours. Both devices enclosed in waterproof housing. Model Foretrex 401, is also equipped with an electronic compass and barometric altimeter. On the timing of production and the cost of two new personal navigation company Garmin Foretrex has nothing reported.
