Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) has completed improvement work on the communication networks in Palau owned and operated by the Palau National Communication Corporation (PNCC). The project included establishment of ground stations for communication satellites and upgrading mobile communication networks, according to CHT.
CHT said it held a ceremony jointly with PNCC to mark the completion of the work on July 7.
CHT said it signed with PNCC for the project at the end of 2008, providing all services needed, including planning, equipment procurement, and technical support for maintenance. For the total cost, PNCC will pay to CHT based on an 8-year monthly installment scheme, CHT indicated.
