Chunghwa Telecom nets NT$2.30 per share for January-June 2009

Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) on July 10 reported a net profit of NT$4.024 billion (US$123 million) for June 2009, with a January-June net profit of NT$22.323 billion translating into net EPS of NT$2.30.

CHT had about 1.34 million FTTx subscribers and 440,000 8Mbps ADSL subscribers at the end of June 2009, the company indicated.

Taiwan Mobile (TWM) and Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) also recently released their financial figures for June 2009.
