The new standard networks CDMA

Company CDMA Development Group (CDG), dedicated to the development of networks of CDMA, announced a new standard - CDMA2000 1X Advanced. This standard will allow CDMA operators to regard the third-generation networks to significantly increase the speed of voice communication networks for CDMA2000 1X. This introduction can not occur simultaneously, but slowly, or only to the specific operator needs. A full update on CDMA 1x Advanced, includes improving the software and network cards, which would in theory four-fold increase in the capacity of voice channels through the suppression of interference, improve the management capacity of the signal and other activities to improve the network.

Also in CDMA2000 networks will be possible to use Service Service 1X Voice and EV-DO Data (SVDO). These projects will provide simultaneous voice and data. Previously, operators of CDMA2000 networks for the simultaneous transmission of voice and data using a more expensive solution of Internet Multimedia Subsystem. It is anticipated that the introduction of standard CDMA 1x Advanced relieve operators of the need to implement such a costly add-ons, but it will enable them to implement advanced services that compete for WCDMA networks and UMTS.
