Opera Mobile Coming to Google's Android OS
Opera Mobile 9.7 is a great alternative browser for Windows Mobile and Symbian, but so far it hasn't been available on other smart phone platforms. In an interview with PCMag.com today, Opera Software CEO Jon von Tetzchner said the browser might come to Google Android - though he didn't say when.
"Yes, we are working on an Android version," von Tetzchner said.
Opera Mobile is a full-fledged browser that renders HTML pages on your device and supports widgets that reside on your phone. Android and BlackBerry users right now are limited to Opera Mini, a lighter-weight browser that reformats Web pages through Opera's servers to present them in a "mobile-friendly" format.
Android's own browser, based on WebKit, is pretty good. Opera Mobile has a download manager, flexible bookmark management, and is known to be fast. It'll be interesting to see how it does against Android's browser.

Well opera was one my favorite browsers, it has a nice feature and User Interface. It also has speed dial which makes possible for users to browse their favorite websites quickly.. I think it is a good thing that Opera would be created for Android Mobile OS considering the growth of Android Mobile OS users
