Activities and interests on the Internet: the Russians are interested in news

In early September RUmetrika conducted an online survey of users about their activity on the Internet. In addition to actions to be performed at any time in the last month, separately identifiable classes that the user feels it necessary to perform regularly, every day.

Data from RUmetriki got the following: reading the news leader - during the month-to-information sites accessed 77% of respondents, those engaged in daily 70,1% of users. By e-mail at least once a month using 73,8% of the Internet audience, every day, write and receive letters 64,6% of respondents.

Searches are used by 68,7% of citizens, but there is a daily necessity at 51,5%. Weather forecasting is interested in 68,4%, 56,6% of them - every day. Another regular classes can be called communication through messaging services (ICQ, GTalk, etc.) - 34,7% of the total, 28.6% of them every day.

Other classes of Internet users is not so regular. Approximately half of those who read blogs, forums, advice and services wrote in them, playing online games, using directories and ranking, comes to dating site, does it every day.
Even fewer of the number of users who shakes or viewing online photos and videos, download software, is looking maps of Russia and the world listens and sways to music, places a photo, audio and video, watch online TV, follow these steps on a daily basis. These mainly entertainment services used daily by at least one third of them traded at least once a month.

What is interesting, to download or listen to / view audio and video recordings, post their photo, write blogs, ie create content online users prefer much less than its Internet-consuming. Thus, for comparison, download or browse online photos or videos 46.6% of users (20,8% of them daily), and post their photos and videos 22,9% at least once a month, and every day - 4, 9%. In music listeners in the network and those of its places, the spread is even higher: 38,6% of all students (14.4% daily) and only 5,3% at least once a month (2,1% each day).

Make purchases on the Internet in just the past month, 19.8% of respondents to pay for goods and services online - 12,7%, held various banking and financial transactions through the Internet 12.4% of users Runet. Quite logically, that such operations do not necessarily perform every day, but 2,9% of respondents each day online shopping, 2,4% - pay via the Internet products and services, and 5,4% perform banking and financial operations. Ie trading a daily basis in the network every sixth - seventh user (primarily individuals), financial - for about half (most likely - at work).
