Inventec Appliances Nanjing to roll out Ophones in 1Q10, says paper

Inventec Appliances (Nanjing) Electronics, the brand-product unit of Taiwan-based Inventec Appliances based in China, is scheduled to launch Ophones based on China Mobile's Open Mobile System (OMS) in the first quarter of 2010, according to a Chinese-language Commercial Times report.

Inventec Appliances has been cooperating with China Mobile in the development of TD-SCDMA handsets since 2007, the paper noted.
