NTT DOCOMO at CEATEC JAPAN 2009

Anyone interested in a better tomorrow is invited to visit CEATEC JAPAN 2009 and experience the exciting new services, research and technologies of the world's leading innovator in mobile communication – NTT DOCOMO – demonstrated and displayed under the theme "Challenge and the power to build a better tomorrow." The cutting-edge IT & electronics show will take place in Chiba, Japan from October 6 to 10.

Eye-activated device control
•Experimental headset integrated with eye-motion sensors that enable users to control music players, send email, etc. just by moving their eyes while looking at a specially equipped screen.
Solar-powered charger and battery
•World's first mobile phone charger/battery pack with photovoltaic panel incorporating Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) IC technology for maximized power, realizing anywhere chargeability while also helping to reduce CO2 emissions.
Remote operation of home devices
•Use a mobile phone to remotely lock/unlock doors, turn off/on lights, air conditioners, etc., listen to messages recorded by visitors speaking into the front-door intercom, and more.
Handset made with authentic wood
•The eco-minded TOUCH WOOD is made with surplus cypress culled during forest-thinning, each handset boasting uniquely grained natural wood specially compressed for durability and water/mildew/insect resistance.
