Point of View presented a netbook based on Ion
Point of View company introduced its first netbook, which is based on the chipset NVIDIA ION - Mobii ION 230. New combines energy-efficient Atom processor 230 and graphics NVIDIA ION to create a small and cost laptop with serious possibilities.
The graphic chip NVIDIA ION with DirectX 10 support provides the 10.2-inch LCD-Display with LED-backlit and a resolution 1024h600. The system is equipped with 1 GB DDR2 RAM and 160 GB hard drive. Multimedia features, such as SD / MMC card reader, wireless LAN controller Wireless-G, 1.3-megapixel webcam, and, optionally, Bluetooth V2.0, do Mobii ION 230 in the highest degree a universal computer. Inputs / outputs include 10/100/1000-megabitny LAN-connector, audio inputs and outputs, two ports USB 2.0. Last on the list, but not least - 6-cell battery capacity 4400 mAh - capable of feeding Mobii within 4 hours.
New Mobii will be available in black, red and lemon colors in a few weeks. Available operating systems - Linux, Windows XP, Windows Vista and a little closer to the end of this year - Windows 7.
