Verizon Wireless Hosts Customer Appreciation Days In Western North Carolina September 25-27
Verizon Wireless Accepting Phone Donations to Benefit Victims of Domestic Violence.
ASHEVILLE, NC — Verizon Wireless, the leading wireless company with the most reliable voice and data network, is hosting Customer Appreciation Days in stores throughout Western NC the weekend of September 25-27, 2009.
Verizon Wireless is celebrating its successful completion of its purchase of Alltel in January. For the past nine months, the company has been integrating networks, converting billing systems, upgrading high-speed wireless broadband service, and re-merchandising stores across North Carolina.
Customers are encouraged to bring their used wireless phones, batteries and accessories to donate to Verizon Wireless’ ongoing, exclusive HopeLine® phone recycling and reuse program. Phones donated to HopeLine® can be refurbished and sold for reuse; those that are not salvageable are recycled in an environmentally sound way under a zero landfill policy. Proceeds generated from the phones collected by HopeLine® go toward wireless phones and service for survivors of domestic violence as well as financial grants to non-profit domestic violence prevention and awareness agencies.
During the weekend of September 25th - 27th, customers will enjoy waived activation fees with a two-year plan, 25% off select accessories and can choose from a selection of free Samsung phones valued at $49.99 or below after rebate.
