Yota roaming agreement in the U.S. and Japan

Company Yota, service provider access to speedy wireless Internet technology Mobile WiMAX (4G) in Russia, started the organization with international roaming service provider, technology-based WiMAX - U.S. Clearwire Communications and Japanese UQ. Along with these companies Yota signed a letter of intent setting out the aims and functions of operators in the framework of the organization of a mutual roaming. Also Yota will continue to cooperate with the affiliate program of the Global Alliance »(YTL - Malaysia, WiTribe - Pakistan, Vee Telecom and Global Mobile - Taiwan) and other WiMAX operators to ensure the smooth roaming, after a network of partners will be launched into commercial service.

According to the protocol of intentions, Yota, Clearwire and UQ will collaborate on business and technical level to organize the processes required to support international roaming and roaming support system and device operators. As part of this collaboration will use the standards, specifications and templates for roaming, set by the association WiMAX Forum.
