GSM-version of Communicator Palm Pre went on sale
In confirmation of previously received information on the preparation of GSM-version of Communicator Palm Pre, operator O2 officially launched this model in Germany. In the near future O2 will be the exclusive distributor of the model, which at the end of the week should also be on sale in Britain and Ireland.
The European version of Communicator Palm Pre on the characteristics of virtually no different from the CDMA-version distributed in the United States. The only difference is the only standard supported by the networks: for Europe is GSM enabled high-speed data HSDPA (up to 7.2 Mb / s). The cost of the device in Germany will be 481 euros, when buying the tariff MyHandy: € 1 payment, and a two-year contract with ezhemesechnym costs € 20.
