Nokia announced the release of the official port of Qt to Maemo platform 5

The company Nokia announced the establishment of an official port Qt to Maemo platform 5 and published the first preliminary release technology. The company noted that the output of this port to the Maemo platform 5 means the opportunity not only to create new applications based on it for devices such as, for example, Nokia N900, but the possibility of converting existing applications and re-created on other operating systems that support Qt, including coming Maemo 6, as well as Symbian and Windows Mobile.

The final version of the port, which will be based on the version of Qt 4.6, released in the first quarter of 2010.
