Seoul, Korea – SK Telecom and Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM) announced that a new white version of the BlackBerry® Bold™ smartphone will be available from in Korea at the end of October. SK Telecom will offer the first 1,000 customers a free BlackBerry® Horizontal Leather Pouch worth KRW 37,400.
The BlackBerry Bold smartphone from SK Telecom is designed to provide users with exceptional functionality, performance and style. It comes with a localized QWERTY keyboard, featuring support for Korean language input and display. The BlackBerry Bold smartphone supports tri-band HSDPA high-speed networks and comes with integrated GPS and Wi-Fi®.
In addition to providing the industry’s leading mobile email and messaging solution and many premium phone features, the BlackBerry Bold smartphone also includes a rich set of multimedia capabilities and easy access to a broad range of business and lifestyle applications.
