Cellular communication in Russia in September for a version of the J & P
In September 2009 the number registered in Russia SIM-cards has grown to 203.7 million level of penetration in the whole of Russia amounted to 143,4%, and in the Moscow license zone [Meuse] - 187.4%.
Cumulative growth of subscriber base of Russian operators in September 2009 amounted to 1.9 million [0.95%]. In September 2009 the monthly growth rate dropped to 13,9% compared with September 2008 [-309.4 thousand]
Over the past 12 months the total subscriber base of Russian operators increased by 24.8 million [13.9%]. On September 30, 2009 first place on this indicator in the all-Russia scale is MTS [6.8 million], the second place - "MegaFon" [6.7 million], the third - "VimpelCom" [5.9 million .].
The highest rates of growth of subscribers in 3 months demonstrated Tele2 [7,4%] and "Megaphone" [6,0%].
