ASUS Eee PC Seashell on the new Intel Atom - more performance and battery life
ASUS has announced the start of the second generation of Intel Atom platform in a series netbook Eee PC Seashell, which includes models of Eee PC Seashell 1005P, 1005PE, and 1001P.
In computers, a series of Eee PC Seashell, equipped with the new processor Intel Atom N450, implemented technology ASUS Super Hybrid Engine (SHE), through which power system parameters are automatically adjusted in accordance with current tasks. Through optimal energy consumption is achieved savings of up to 15%. The effect of the sharing of technology and SHE Atom N450 processor is 14 hours of battery life without recharging the battery.
In a series of new models of Eee PC Seashell installed two operating systems: Windows 7, and Express Gate, the latter being loaded in just 8 seconds, providing nearly instant access to all sorts of Internet applications. Also in these computers much attention paid to ergonomics. For example, the keyboard type chiclet provides comfort during prolonged use.
Netbooks Eee PC Seashell also offer some additional services available through the interface ASUS Access, which is run by pressing the pre-installed on the desktop icon. In the list of available services include ASUS AP Bank, Game Park, ASUS @ Vibe, ASUS Wi-Fi, ASUS WebStorage and ASUS Safeguard. For example, ASUS WebStorage - is the ability to use free online data storage size of 500 GB to exchange files or create backup copies of important information.
