Local Wireless Network Upgrade Extends Access to Advanced Products, Services and Applications in Christiansburg and Radford in Western Virginia.
AT&T* announced the availability of its third generation (3G) mobile broadband network throughout New River Valley including Christiansburg and Radford, opening the door to a new era of mobile services, devices and feature-rich audio and video content. Consumers and businesses now enjoy the 3G network in downtown Christiansburg, along 25 miles of I-81 between Radford and Elliston and at Radford University.
The network extension is part of AT&T’s ongoing efforts to drive innovation and investment to deliver the benefits of smartphones and mobile broadband for customers and complements the existing 3G footprint in Roanoke,Harrisonburg, Blacksburg, Charlottesville, Hampton Roads, and Richmond.
