DLD Conference takes place in Munich for the sixth time in January 2010
Europe's leading innovation conference with more than 800 international guests and 80 speakers - including Martti Ahtissari, Marissa Mayer, Helen Fisher, Jason Kilar and Owen Van Natta.
MUNICH -- The DLD (Digital Life Design) innovation conference organized by Hubert Burda Media will be taking place in Munich for the sixth time from 24 to 26 January 2010.
DLD 2010's theme is "Map Your Future." The conference offers attendees an overview of trends and developments in the digital industry and beyond. Simultaneously DLD is a platform for interdisciplinary exchange and business development. Main topics this year are digital innovations in entertainment, search, mobile, content, advertising and e-commerce. DLD will also illuminate developments in companies and society, for example diversity, social innovation and sustainability, as well as providing new insights into science, art and design.
The speakers will include: Martti Ahtissari (Noble laureate), Jason Kilar (CEO Hulu), Owen van Natta (CEO MySpace), Frank Appel (CEO Deutsche Post DHL), Magid Abraham (CEO ComScore), Paul Sagan (CEO Akamei), Jimmy Wales (Wikipedia and WikiA), Marissa Mayer (Google), Tero Ojanpera (Nokia), Anders-Sundt Jensen (Mercedes-Benz), Conrad Wolfram (Wolfram Alpha), Randi Zuckerberg (Facebook), Helen Fisher (Anthropologist), Tim Kring (Creator "Heroes"), Trevor Edwards (Nike), Bertrand Piccard (Solar-Pionier), Blaise Aguera y Arcas (Bing).
The producers of DLD are Steffi Czerny and Dr. Marcel Reichart, who brought the conference to life in 2005. 800 selected international thinkers and creative minds from the media, business, politics and culture will be welcomed in Munich for an exchange, which is both internationally and interdisciplinary. On Sunday afternoon, the "Aenne Burda Award for Creative Leadership" will be presented by Dr. Hubert Burda. Apart from this ceremony, the DLD Night on Monday evening is another fixed part of the framework program. Furthermore, DLD will be extended to the World Economic Forum - with the Burda DLD Nightcap on Wednesday evening in Davos.
