Customers can Speed Time to Production with Freescale ARM11-based System Running on Android OS.
Vancouver, BC – Intrinsyc Software International, Inc. (TSX: ICS), a leading provider of solutions for mobile devices, announced a new global reseller agreement with Delta Mobile Systems, a leading provider of innovative wireless products and services. Intrinsyc will resell the DM600-DEV, a comprehensive development platform for Android-based Internet appliances, wired and wireless gateways, monitoring and control systems, and wireless handheld products.
Featuring a high-performance Freescale i.MX31L 400MHz ARM11 processor with low-power requirements, the DM600-DEV supports onboard wireless connectivity via WiFi and Bluetooth, as well as numerous I/O options, including Ethernet, USB, UART, SD/MMC, and digital and analog audio. The Android OS software package includes Linux Board Support Package (BSP), low level I/O driver binary, and examples of applications to jump-start development. The platform is equipped with a 5-inch backlit touch-screen color display.
