Samsung Electronics Announces Earnings Guidance for Fourth Quarter 2009
Consolidated revenues estimated at 39 trillion Korean won;operating profit at 3.7 trillion won.
SEOUL, Korea: Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced its earnings guidance for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2009.
Consolidated Revenue: 39 trillion Korean won
(Range : 38 – 40 trillion Korean won)
Consolidated Operating Profit: 3.7 trillion Korean won
(Range : 3.5 – 3.9 trillion Korean won)
The estimated revenues for the fiscal year of 2009 was 136.05 trillion Korean won on consolidated basis, while operating profit was expected to be 10.92 trillion Korean won
The earnings and operating profit for the fiscal year of 2009 estimated be disclosed following the Board of Directors’ approval of the financial statements and quarterly report.

The guidance is provided ahead of the full announcement of quarterly earnings results for the convenience of investors and other stakeholders.
