TORONTO - ViXS Systems Inc., a leader in highly innovative and advanced networked multimedia solutions will be showcasing a wide variety of ViXS based shipping consumer products at CES 2010, January 7th - 10th, at South Hall 4, Booth 36159MP. ViXS will be demonstrating the latest leading-edge Consumer Electronic (CE) products, Set Top Boxes (STB), DTVs and Blu-Ray PVR/Recorders based on their current offering of advanced XCode(R) video processing ICs. In addition to these ground breaking new consumer electronic products, ViXS will be demonstrating the latest technologies in Multimedia Processing, Video Networking and Mobile Phone support including the new XCode(R) 4100 product family.
The XCode(R) 4100 product family is an advanced media System-on-Chip ("SoC") with a powerful 1250 DMIPS application processor coupled with the ability to perform simultaneous dual HD media processing including encoding, decoding and transcoding. The XCode(R) 3000 series, an advanced MPEG4 AVC (MPEG4 Part 10/H.264) Transcoder/Encoder/Decoder System-on-a-Chip (SoC), has led the way in the CE, STB and PVR Recorder markets by being the first and only single-chip hardware transcoder shipping in all markets with leading manufacturers such as Hitachi, Sony, Sharp, Samsung, Dell and NEC.
