Taiwan market: CHT to launch online applications store in May

Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) plans to launch its own online applications store in May 2010, with application programs to initially support Android platforms.

In additional news, the company recently launched navigation applications for mobile phones in the Taiwan market through cooperation with Kingwaytek Technology, of which CHT is a main shareholder.
