Taiwan market: 1Q10 mobile voice calls up 11.35% on year

Mobile voice communications in the Taiwan market in the first quarter of 2010 totaled 9.677 billion minutes, increasing on year by 11.35%, according to the National Communications Commission (NCC).

The increase was mainly spurred by free intra-network calls, according to industry sources.
