The service of mobile television from MTS is supplemented by new television channels
Telecommunication operator MTS reported the fact that the service of mobile television MTS was supplemented by the three additional Russian-language television channels: “RAIN”, “[RIAN] OF TV” and “the expert OF TV”.
As operator reports, on the sums of three months of the work of its service of mobile television in the test regime program MTS TV established more than 100 thousand users. Total traffic of the users of mobile TV exceeded 2 [Tb], and the total time of the survey of television channels comprised more than 10 000 hours. It is more than half of all users of service - owners of iPhone. The peak of the survey of mobile television coincides with the peak of business activity - subscribers use “mobile TV” as the additional information channel, useful in the work and which makes it possible to be up to date in the urgent world events. News, business and musical television channels enjoy the greatest demand.
Service “mobile TV” acts in standard 3G in the regime of test operation in two zones of the broadcasting: in Moscow and in all regions of North Western federal region. Pay for the survey of mobile television during the work of test zones, including for the traffic is not collected.
