T-Mobile UK: FroYo update for HTC Desire due “next month”

T-Mobile has today updated its customers (scroll down) on when they can expect the Android 2.2 update to arrive for owners of T-Mobile branded Desires – and the answer is “next month”. So while Vodafone users should get Android 2.2 on Monday, T-Mobile owners are being told/asked to wait until September.

With thanks to reader Tony for his dilligent research. For what it’s worth, we’re expecting O2 to operate on a similar timescale – although it might sneak its update out before the end of August. No idea what’s going on with Orange.
