MGTS by the end of 2010 to increase the revenue to 30.6 billion rubles
Local wireline operator - OJSC Moscow City Telephone Network, which is part of MTS Group, reported on the main financial results of the company in 2010:
MGTS revenues in 2010 amounted to 30.6 billion rubles, or 6.7% higher results in 2009, when the company's revenue was 28.7 billion rubles. In 2010, MGTS OIBDA margin increased to 15,1 billion rubles from 13.7 billion rubles in 2009. OIBDA margin increased by 1.6 percentage points and amounted to 48,4%.
Net retained profit for the year before one-time write-off was at the 2009 level and amounted to 7.86 billion rubles. In this case, after writedowns of MGTS by the end of 2010 showed a net profit of 1.36 billion rubles. In 2010, the level of net income contributed one-time write-off of 6,5 billion rubles, which is related to the revaluation of MGTS investments in securities.
Debt load MGTS 31 December 2010 was 102 million rubles, which is the minimum level of debt the company since its corporatisation.
According to its activity in 2010 increased revenues MGTS per line: the indicator "Earnings per line grew by 6.3% compared with 2009 and amounted to 5.7 thousand rubles. Positive dynamics in the line caused by expansion of services and introduction of new technological solutions.
MGTS 'share of capital investments in 2010, revenue amounted to 7.8% compared to 3,1% in 2009. Growth in investments linked to the continuation of the program of digitalization - in 2010 the company put into operation more than 310,000 new telephone lines based on the technology IMS. Due to this segment of the analog subscribers were switched telephone network to a digital network and gained access to these additional services such as IPTV, high speed Internet, voice mail, call forwarding, and some others. The level of digitalization of the network has grown to 68,2% from 62,2%.
By the end of 2010 the total installed capacity of the telephone network has exceeded 4.8 million rooms. The number of telephone subscribers increased by 26.5 MGTS thousands and was 4.4 million. The subscriber base of users of the Internet from MGTS increased by 37% and reached 335,000 subscribers.
