Samsung Galaxy S II: more than a million smartphones sold

It was learned that the flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S II (i9100) hits record sales in the domestic market - in South Korea. There, the unit was sold about a month ago - from 29 April - and is available in three basic operators: SKT, KT and LG U +. During this time it has already sold a million smartphones, with the first 100,000 went for three days, and 500,000 - 18 days since its launch. In other regions, including in Russia, the model is sold not so long ago - in mid-May.

For comparison, last year's flagship Samsung Galaxy S (i9000) overcame million records within 70 days, that is, he sold more than two times slower. Recall, Samsung Galaxy S II - a slim candybar with 4.3-inch touch screen Super AMOLED Plus and no hardware keyboard. It is built on the 1.2-GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The other characteristics, too advanced, for example, can note the 8-megapixel camera and an optional support NFC.
