Steve Jobs stepped down as CEO of Apple

The Board of Directors of Apple announced the resignation of Steve Jobs (Steve Jobs) from the post of chief executive officer, and appointment to the post by Tim Cook (Tim Cook), who until now had been chief operating officer of Apple.
