LG reported for the third fiscal quarter of 2011
The South Korean company LG Electronics presented its report in the past for its third fiscal quarter of 2011, which provides information to its affiliates and LG Mobile Communications Company, a manufacturer of mobile terminals.
According to these data, sales of LG mobile division fell by 8.5% compared to same period last year, and amounted to 2.76 trillion South Korean Won ($ 2.5 billion). The company announced that the operating loss amounted to 139 billion Korean Won ($ 128.47 million). LG plans to continue to focus on the production and increase sales of smartphones LTE phones and smartphones with the launch of Optimus LTE is going to boost sales and improve profitability in the coming quarter.
