Fujitsu ARROWS μ F-07D takes the crown as the world’s thinnest smartphone

The DROID RAZR was released just slightly over a week ago, but the device may have already lost its crown as the world’s thinnest Android smartphone. Fujitsu’s ARROWS μ F-07D Android smartphone, pictured above, made its way through the FCC today, revealing a body that’s just 6.7mm thin. That’s thinner than the 7.1mm DROID RAZR, not to mention Apple’s 9.3mm iPhone 4.

More impressively, the ARROWS μ F-07D’s doesn’t have a large bulge at one end like the DROID RAZR and other ultra-thin smartphones such as the Galaxy S II. As you can see in the image below from Ktai Watch, the ARROWS μ F-07D’s thickness remains mostly uniform, varying less than 2mm from its thickest to thinnest point.

Under the hood, the ARROWS μ F-07D sports a Qualcomm MSM8255 processor running at 1.4GHz, 512MB of RAM and 1GB of internal storage. That device runs Android 2.3, features a 4-inch gorilla glass WVGA screen and a 5MP camera.

The ARROWS μ F-07D will be released by NTT DoCoMo in 2012.
