Mozilla is testing a mobile operating system
The network has more details on the development of the Mozilla operating system for mobile devices. This operating system is called the Boot until 2 Gecko or abbreviated B2G. The project has reached the stage of testing by developers. In general, this system became known, like the Chrome OS from a company Google - it's optimized for the network and is designed to use HTML-5 application. But, in contrast to suggestions from Google, it has a kernel-based Android, while philosophy is to use "as little as possible Android», bringing experience to the Chrome OS mobile phones. At the moment, developers are busy on several fronts, including consciousness of the new API, and portiovanii or building applications for the platform. Because the operating system is built on open network standards and network applications will use HTML-5, its applications will also be compatible with those for iOS or Android. Despite the fact that the active development of the operating system Mozilla Boot 2 Gecko became known only recently, its testing has been going on for several months. It is reported that the beta version will be ready in the first quarter of 2012 and ready for delivery to market the product may appear in the second quarter of next year.
