MTS launched its commercial service portal for "cloud" services in Belarus

The mobile operator MTS announced the partnership with NEC Corporation commercial launch of the portal "Business Solutions" - a specialized store software and services based on cloud computing that is available to subscribers of JV "Mobile TeleSystems" in Belarus.

The portal "business decision" private and corporate clients have access to "cloud" applications and software for business. Solutions are implemented on the base model SaaS (Sowftware as a Service, Software as a Service), in which the client can access the program via a web interface without installing them on your computer. Using the cloud model will allow businesses to reduce spending on IT infrastructure by eliminating the cost of installing, updating and technical support software.

Among the solutions available to users - accounting package "1C: Enterprise", "Pabliklik" - an application that allows you to send SMS on the basis of contacts and create promotional Web pages tailored for mobile phones, "video bridge" - a service that provides video-conferencing from any PC connected to the Internet, "spontaneous" - a service organization for the Web video business class with enhanced functionality.

To work with cloud services is enough to register on www.br.mts.by, registration is available to all subscribers of "MTS Belarus." Within a month after registering the subscriber has the opportunity to use free of charge. Further, payment services, store-bought "Business Solutions", will be charged to the MTS subscriber's account in accordance with the value the service parameters.

As stated by the operator, Belarus was the first of the CIS countries where MTS has implemented cloud solutions that are implemented based on the SaaS-model. The project, NEC completed work on the installation and integration of SaaS-platform network and billing system "MTS Belarus." Throughout the period of operation of NEC will provide technical support and upgrade solutions. In particular in the near future the company plans to increase the number of applications available to users based on the SaaS-platform.
