Verizon Wireless and CASIO introduced the next-protected "clamshell» CASIO G'zOne Ravine 2
The North American mobile operator Verizon Wireless and the company CASIO announced the completion of portfolios secured mobile phones new folding model CASIO G'zOne Ravine 2 with the support of global roaming and the ability to work in networks of more than 200 mobile operators.


Besides the support to resist external environmental influences (shocks, dust, rain, snow, heat and frost), the novelty is equipped with specialized proprietary application G'zGEAR, working in seven modes, and are intended for people with active lifestyles:
Earth Compass (Compass): works like a normal compass, using the GPS capabilities, and showing the distance and direction to the nearest major landmarks
Walking COU nter (step counter): Counting the distance covered in a variety of sections - (number of steps and distance for various periods of time)
Astro Calendar (astronomical calendar): This indicates the current phases of the moon and the number of days remaining until the full moon or new moon
Tides (Tides): display graphics tides (past, present and future) as well as maximum and minimum water surface, using the built-in GPS receiver readings
Thermometer (thermometer) shows the current temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit in digital and graphical form, can record and compare the temperature for different locations
Sunrise Sunset (Sunrise and sunset) shows the upcoming sunset or sunrise for the current location, and tracks the phase of the moon
Star Gaze : using the GPS receiver shows the starry sky (the names of celestial bodies and constellations) with respect to time of day and year
CASIO G'zOne Ravine 2 will be available from November 17 (in retail - from November 23) at $ 149.99, subject to signing a two-year agreement with the operator. For this amount the user will get their hands on the machine with the following characteristics:
