Huawei and Yota launched the first commercial LTE network in the Republic of Belarus
Huawei has announced the project to build the LTE network in 2600 MHz band for mobile broadband Yota Belarus (IOOO "Whit Bell"). Network launched to serve the mobile broadband subscribers in the cities of Minsk and Grodno Republic of Belarus.
The project, Huawei has set operator Yota integrated solution based on today's radio access network equipment based on the LTE standard platform Single RAN. With this solution the peak rate in the direct channel in LTE networks can reach 75 Mbit / s and 140 Mbit / s depending on the width of the channel used (10 and 20 MHz respectively), which is currently outstanding result for mobile broadband networks.
