LG Spectrum: First Press Shots, Full Specs

It was only a few days ago that we saw the first images of the LG Spectrum, spiritual successor to the LG Revolution -- among the premiere batch of Verizon's 4G LTE handsets -- but those tiny photos really didn't do the phone justice. Luckily we've gotten a set of higher quality shots, along with a full rundown of the specs: - Dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S3 - Android Gingerbread 2.3 - 10.6 millimeters thick - 4.5-inch, 1280x720 IPS LCD - 1GB RAM, 4GB storage plus 16GB microSD - Eight-megapixel, 1080p rear camera; 1.3-megapixel front-facing - Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n - HDMI, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct - 1830mAh battery - Simultaneous voice and LTE data - 10-device LTE hotspot All-in-all pretty much what we expected: a handset very similar to the Nitro HD on AT&T, which itself is an American port of LG's Optimus LTE from its home country of South Korea. Despite the screen here reading February 14th of next year -- a date close to Mobile World Congress -- we'd be surprised if Spectrum didn't launch before the end of the year into Verizon's already-impressive lineup of high-end devices; after all, no one is buying Revolutions in the land of Nexus, RAZR, Rezound, and Droid 4. source
