The mobile operator "MTS Ukraine" reported the development of innovative energy specialists North Territorial Management - the automated system of commercial electric power accounting.

The system of automated electricity metering (AMR) is based on the existing system of remote monitoring facilities - currently these solutions are becoming more common, as part of the MTS program M2M («machine-to-machine»). Already, the system works successfully in Kharkov, on the order of Sumy, Poltava and Chernihiv.

The principle of operation of the system is simple: through GPRS / EDGE technology data on energy consumption at the sites coming on the core of the CTS "MTS Ukraine", and then - on the remote control. Then this information is taken in the work - is transformed into a special layout and post-Internet mail channels are automatically recorded in the billing system of metering Oblenergos.

As the operator, the system allows not only to collect and transmit information on electricity consumption in normal mode, the consumption of certain intervals, or remotely monitor the electrical parameters, but also make adjustments to the job, in case of emergency situations - for example, such as exceeding the limits consumption. In this case, fixed-limit amounts of consumption, its beginning and end, as well as the phase of the excess capacity.

Functionality of the system is not limited to only information on energy consumption: it is possible to create reports with the possibility of editing, management and conservation of the primary database, power management, depending on the load level. You also have the ability to remotely monitor other objects: burglar and fire alarm systems, video surveillance, emergency lighting and fire fighting facilities.
