Operator MegaFon has announced that it doubled the maximum tariff rate on the options for users unlimited Internet access in the Far East and Eastern Siberia. At the option "Optimum Online" maximum data transfer rate for subscribers of the Sakhalin Oblast, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Magadan region, Kamchatka has grown to 1024 kbit / s for the subscribers of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug - up to 265 kbit / s for the subscribers of the Irkutsk region, the Trans-Baikal Territory, the Republic of Buryatia, Amur Oblast, Jewish Autonomous Oblast, Khabarovsk Krai and Primorsky Krai - up to 2048 Kbps / sec. The "Maximum Online", in turn, allows you to enter the World Wide Web without restrictions of maximum data transfer rate. The company also noted that its 3G network now covers most of the settlements of the Far East and Eastern Siberia, and the number of active mobile Internet users among the clients of MegaFon Far exceeded 1.5 million - almost 33% of the total number of subscribers of the branch.
