MegaFon said on popular mobile devices in March

The operator MegaFon presented the most popular mobile equipment in March 2012. The rankings are based on sales during the period from 1 to March 31, 2012 in the company's own network, numbering 1650 stores in 450 cities of Russia. According to these data, the greatest interest from customers cause modems MegaFon in March as in February, 1st and 2nd places in the top five mobile devices they occupy. This is followed by a compact phone MegaFon Minifon TDS-12-1, and close the top five models of Samsung and Nokia. Five popular mobile devices, on March MegaFon:

Currently, three of the manufacturer (Megafon, Nokia and Samsung) form about 86% of sales in the network operator MegaFon. At the same time, in March against the previous month MegaFon's share of the equipment and the share of Samsung increased by 2% and 7% respectively, while the share of Nokia has decreased by 11%. In March 2012 smartphones accounted for one fifth of the equipment sold and the share of these devices is growing steadily, says the operator. By 2015, according to the analytical service of Vodafone, the share of smartphone sales will increase to 60%.
