Reports of the Nokia Lumia 900 on the Web
The Nokia Lumia 900 has been on the shelves in America and Canada for almost two weeks now. Since then, we’ve been reading rave reviews about this new smartphone that’s taking the US and Canadian streets by storm. Let’s take a look at some of the reviews doing the rounds on the Web since launch.
Jordan Crook over at TechCrunch starts his piece with a very simple sentence:
“Guys, this one’s such a no brainer that I shouldn’t even have to lay it all out. But I will.”
His post consists of two articles in one. One short piece at the top for those with not much time on their hands, and a much larger, in depth piece after that’s full of details about OS performance, display performance and of course the “top-notch” hardware on the Nokia Lumia 900.
Jordan ends his piece with a comparison chart against one of our competitors and also with the words:
“Nokia kicks ass at call reception”
The Yahoo! Contributor Network is a news site created by individuals who want to give their unique perspective on current trends. Naturally, the Nokia Lumia has been given some prime-time thanks to Paul Aertker offers his opinion piece called the Nokia Lumia 900 is the new iPhone.
He states that:
“Nokia’s newest creation is in a completely different league. For the 51% of the non-smartphone market, there is a new choice. Android, iPhone, and now Lumia.”

When the Nokia Lumia 900 was released, Nokia immediately realised there was a software issue and posted a solution in a post entitled Putting people first.
Engadget‘s Zachary Lutz picked up the story on the Nokia Lumia 900 software issue and brought news to his readers that the software fix was delivered days earlier than Nokia initially, commenting:
“Quite the graceful recovery, indeed.”
Our American friends over at the The Windows Phone Blog posted a very short post announcing the sales start of the Nokia Lumia 900 in Canada. Being an announcent piece, it’s not full of opinion as you’d expect, but the comments section is alive with it.
