HTC sells half its stake in Beats Electronics

According to news agency Reuters , the Taiwanese company HTC has sold half its stake in the company's audio Beats Electronics back to its founders, while shares of HTC, after the announcement of this sale, fell by 4%.

Recall that in August last year, HTC has acquired 50.1% stake in Beats Electronics, which was founded by American rapper Dr. Dre, a $ 309 million as part of efforts to differentiation of their handsets and the increasing perception of the brand on a background of increasing competition.

It is reported that HTC sold 25% of its shares and will continue to work closely with the manufacturer of high-quality headphones and speakers.
