MTS set SIM-chip bracelets in telemedicine


The mobile operator MTS OJSC "Russian Scientific Research Institute" Gradient "announced an agreement in which to be launched into mass production and marketing of telemedicine bracelets equipped with MTS SIM-chip for mobile data. The device is designed for clock surveillance of the health of people in need of constant medical supervision.

Until the end of 2012 it is planned to release 25,000 telemedicine bracelets equipped with SIM-chip MTS. Especially for the Institute of "Gradient" MTS has developed tariff "Marking", providing unlimited Internet traffic, as well as providing a geolocation service, allowing, if necessary, to locate patients.

Telemedicine bracelet "Marking" Research Institute developed "Gradient" and Rostov NPP "test" with the support of the Government of the Rostov region. MTS has made telecommunications partner of the project.

According to the companies, the innovative development of Russian scientists provides information on body temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, blood sugar, blood oxygen saturation, as well as other indicators of human activity. Telemetry data from the device, with a built-in SIM-chip MTS transmitted over the mobile network connection to the control center, where it is automatically processed, and, in case of a threat to the patient's signal to medical personnel.
