MTS has revolutionized network in Moscow and the Moscow Region

The mobile operator MTS announced the completion of the project the complex reconstruction of mobile networks in the metropolitan area. The company said that since 2011 it has established more than 5,000 new base stations that support the work of all modern telecommunications standards - 2G, 3G and 4G (LTE).

From the words of the operator, the project will improve the reliability of providing voice services and data services, to increase the capacity of mobile networks by more than 20%. Through renovation and infrastructure optimization MTS reduced probability of termination of calls on its network to 0.8% from 1.3% and increased the percentage of successful connection, up to 99% from 97% (industry standard number of successful calls to mobile operators, fixed Roskomnadzor is 95%).
