"Beeline" expands 3G network in the Chechen Republic


The mobile operator "Beeline" reported on the development of mobile network "third generation" in the Chechen Republic in 2012, where for 10 months of 2012, the number of 3G base stations in its network in the area has increased by 10%. At the end of October 2012 about 70% of people in Chechnya have access to the "third generation" of "Beeline".

In addition to expanding coverage 3G, in the country is in the process of technical improvement of existing products. So, as a result of the 2012 network upgrade every fourth 3G base station was transferred to the technology HSPA +. New technology to increase the data rate up to 21 Mbit / s, introduced in the Urus-Martan, Achkhoi-Martan, Nadterechny, Shelkovskaya, Gudermes, Kurchaloi and Grozny districts of Chechnya, including in major towns across the country: Grozny, Urus-Martan , Gudermes, Argun, Kurchaloi, Achkhoi-Martan.
